he BBC is to release a lost episode of Dad’s Army as an animation after uncovering an audio recording of the programme. A Stripe For Frazer, aired once in 1969 and went missing along with two other episodes as many tapes of programmes from the era were either recorded over or discarded.A high quality audio recording of the episode was recently discovered, and the BBC has now created an animated version of the story. This article is about the old TV series which was big hit in the late 1960s. This is for the older audience who around 50-60 years old as to when they use to watch this.

1.“As the UK renews its love affair with Dad’s Army we’re delighted to be bringing fans an exclusive chance to buy this brilliant lost episode which has been missing from the Dad’s Army portfolio for nearly half a century,” said Jonathan Green, director of BBC Store.

2. In the runup to Christmas, BBC2 aired We’re Doomed! The Dad’s Army Story, a comedy drama about the trials and tribulations of getting the comedy series onto TV in the 1960s, which drew 2.7 million viewers.

3. A feature film is going to be released soon.

In my opinion I believe it is good that they're bringing fan favourite television shows back as to the reason of the older demographic audience. This will make new fans aswell to watch the old ones and it would mean that it can be a good raise for the new film they will be making gaining more fans for their older work.
