Contrast the techniques used by each product to communicate its message
Both texts uses different ways to communicate its message to the audience this would be by first the 'IHave30' giving a 30 second clip which can be shared and give an ideal of knowledge in a short time. The reason it uses this technique would be because of making sure that it can be shared quickly as to being a 30 second clip and it would communicate to all audiences giving the enigma code wondering what is the occupying movement. However with the traditional use of media the news broadcast gives an professional and informational technique by showing different points and longing out the news report as to what is happening and giving an example of what occupying movement. This uses Barthes Enigma code as well as to wanting to more and the news report ending with a cliffhanger. giving the message showing the protest and giving the question is it really over?

How can audiences use Youtube and other social media sites to create their own identities?
Ihave30 is an example of what Youtube can do as to giving the outcome that different identities are taken in account on youtube as to categories. For example entertainment, gaming, makeup, vlogs and many other different. Audience can make videos like this just by a click of a button all they need is a camera and a mic. They're so many vloggers that they have made television be less used and streaming and watching online more used as a daily driver. This would be examples like Pewdiepie have 43 million subscribers and having more views that the super bowl in 2016. However everyone having social media accounts and youtube account would make them one big unit as to being culturally imperialised. For example this would be all youtubers and the social media accounts being the same as to people using the same content or just from the way they are they give an representation of Americanisation into the digital world as to youtube starting there and being bigger.

How has new technology changed the way individuals and groups can challenge dominant and hegemonic ideologies?
The advancement in technology has made social media like Facebook and Twitter give opinions and views online about any topic politically or entertainment wise. It would give the ideology that we have the power of control that we can do and can change the media mind as to what we want from the industries as to stories. This would be by petitions or it will be a big protest on social media which would peer pressure to show content and this would be the dominant ideology. However you could say it is a hegemonic ideology for example for sites to remove content and go for copy right which the company would get money for and it would be for the industries to control what can be said. Another example of this  wanting to believe that the audience are in control as to giving the act of giving all content. For example this would be the 2015 elections as to the majority was voting for Labour party but conservatives still won because of the traditional methods. This would show that hegemonic ideologies still exist and that there hasn't been a big change.
