What's wrong with the internet?

The article talks about what if camera could watch us without knowing, they give a scenario of the city of Philadelphia and how school students got school issued laptops which they didn't know that they were actually getting watched. In addition the article also talks about the issue Data mining as business Amazon has to look into out data to see what we actually like as for example it is used for all businesses as if they didn't have it they would know nothing about us. And for the last part of the article it gives a fair point of how the government uses surveillance on us giving us less freedom we use to have in the world.

My opinion on this issue is that its wrong to have surveillance without out permission as for example for school issued devices we should know if being watched and if so this shouldn't even happen as it is part of students privacy. The reason it is wrong is because its not part of business to look if students are doing homework or not its to show they have freedom outside of school. In addition the data mining issue I'm half agree and half disagree as they can use it as what I am interested in and what I have bought before but they shouldn't go into more further information as to how much I spend money or even give my information to other businesses. It is fair that they data mining but they shouldn't use so wildly to other businesses and 'experiment' on us. Lastly the government watching us is wrong as we should have at least privacy what we do I know nothing to hide but some people want privacy no matter what but in my opinion we should have more freedom than usual.
